The Director of the MSc program and the Laboratory in Bioeconomy, Circular Economy and Sustainable Development Prof. Constantina Kottaridi was invited to the newsroom talk show of Naftemporiki TV regarding high prices and the Prime Minister’s announcement that he will ask the European Commission to take action about the differentiated pricing of multinational enterprises.

Prof. Kottaridi stressed that there are various factors for high prices in Greece and highlighted the role of consumers’ consciousness given that firms impose prices in regards to consumers’ responsiveness, or else in economic terms, based on price elasticity of demand.
