The program offers the possibility of internships to its students in the 3rd semester of studies, in a number of our partners. Through the Career Office of the University, our students may carry out their internships in all partners of the Office, as well as they can choose among a number of firms and organizations, directly linked to the MSc program

We offer a number of free, for our students, seminars in special topics that are of interest to our students as well as to software.

The program offers the possibility to our students, when available, to participate in international workshops and summer schools
The program organizes frequently special workshops with distinguished speakers so that our students can be linked to the market and academia.
The program is linked to the market but also to acedemia, hence it organizes special sessions during classes with invited speakers as well as special workshops so that our students have the chance to interact with business executives and academics and broaden their horizons.
The MSc organizes visits in businesses and organizations so that our students have the possibility to see in action how Bioeconomy, Circular Economy and Sustainable Development are implemented and also discuss with business executives about their career path and the potential of employment after their graduation.

The program provides scholarships in each of the two first semesters which are based on purely academic criteria (student excellence). In case of many students that excel, the amount of scholarships is divided to those with the same grade. Potential responsibilities of the scholars are determined by the General Assembly of the Department.

Within the framework of the cooperation of the postgraduate program with companies, the Public Electricity Company - PPC grants two scholarships to two primary students in each course. Aldemar offers two Internship positions to our postgraduate students, in the third semester..

The pursuit of specific outcomes defined by the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for all countries makes this multidisciplinary postgraduate programme a valuable asset for professionals from all academic backgrounds in both today’s and the future labour market.
Marios Ioannis Floros, Hellenic Navy Officer, Supreme Joint War CollegeI am completely satisfied with the knowledge I gained from Professor Kottaridi and the faculty of the postgraduate programme. I consider this step essential for pursuing a career that combines scientific research with the business world.
Pantelis Kazanas, Biologist, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA)I would encourage recent graduates to apply to this postgraduate programme, as its interdisciplinary nature creates numerous opportunities for professional and academic development. It also adds significant value by broadening the specialised knowledge that a postgraduate programme focused exclusively on a single field would typically provide.
Ermioni Raftopoulou, PhD Candidate, Department of Biology, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA)As a working professional, I can say with confidence that a postgraduate programme of this kind cannot go unnoticed by any modern organisation. My studies helped me gain a deeper understanding of issues related to energy and environmental economics, which led me to pursue research into specific areas and to apply in my professional work knowledge and concepts that I acquired during the programme.
Thanasis Panagiotopoulos, Project Manager for the Halki Theological SchoolThrough the programme, I had the opportunity to meet highly accomplished and inspiring people. This included not only my professors, but also business professionals who were invited to deliver guest lectures. Most importantly, through the programme’s internship scheme, I was given the opportunity to secure a job in one of the largest sectors of the Greek economy: tourism and hospitality.
