The Director of the MSc program was invited to the talk show Atairiastoi in skai tv on March 10, 2022 to discuss the economic consequences of the energy crisis emerging from the Ukraine war. She stressed that in the EU and in Greece, we underestimated the energy sector, as we could have moved, to a greater extent, to Renewable Resources. Professor Mousiopoulos from the energy department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki said that RS are much cheaper than lignite and technologies are available to move towards them for large scale projects. Furthermore, Mr. Chatzitheodosiou, President of the Athens Chamber of Tradesmen, discussed the difficulties that trade faces due to the energy crisis.
