The free of charge seminar of the MSc program under its CSR regarding biorefinery development has been successfully fulfilled with Dr. Anestis Vlysidis, researcher at the Joint Research Center of the EC in Italy, Bioeconomy Sector. The first part included the definition of biorefineries, why we need them and how they must be used within the bioeconomy framework. The second part focused on bioerefineries’ development using lignite and their sustainability.

The seminar took place in 5 and 12 December, 2020.
